Mazda has updated its 2027 CX-30 lineup in Australia, introducing new grades and features while reducing all-wheel-drive options. The revised model now starts at $34,760 before on-road costs, with price increases ranging from $400 to $2,300 across the range. Notably, the G25 GT SP sees the largest increase, up $2,300, due to the inclusion of the previously optional Vision Technology package.

New Grades and Features

The 2027 Mazda CX-30 gains two new grades: the G25 Evolve SP and G25 GT, both front-wheel-drive. These additions come alongside the deletion of the G20 Touring LE, G25 Touring, and G25 GT SP AWD variants. All-wheel drive is now exclusive to the flagship G25 Astina, priced at $49,460, a $2,000 premium over its front-wheel-drive counterpart. The G25 Evolve SP and G25 GT SP now feature black exterior styling elements, including emblems, grille, and side window surrounds, enhancing their sporty aesthetic.

The update brings several enhancements, including a larger 10.25-inch Mazda Connect infotainment touchscreen across most grades, replacing the previous 8.8-inch non-touch system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard on the entry-level G20 Pure, aligning it with the rest of the lineup. The G20 Evolve also gains illuminated vanity mirrors, previously limited to higher grades.

Performance and Safety Upgrades

Mazda has improved the CX-30’s autonomous emergency braking system, enabling it to detect motorcyclists, junction turns, and direct head-on collisions. Interior updates include new upholstery options, such as white synthetic leather with grey suede inserts for the G25 GT SP, replacing the previous burgundy leather. The G25 Evolve SP features black cloth upholstery with red stitching, adding a touch of sportiness.

The 2027 CX-30 introduces two new exterior colors: Zinc Green, previously seen on the MX-5 sports car, and Aero Grey. These replace the outgoing Ceramic and Zircon Sand options. Ventilated front seats, a feature long available on the CX-5, are now standard on the GT SP and Astina grades, enhancing comfort.

The G20 Pure, Evolve, and Touring grades now include fixed LED daytime running lights, while the Astina’s adaptive LED headlights feature a “glare-free high beam” function. These changes reflect Mazda’s focus on blending style, technology, and safety in its latest CX-30 offering.

The G20 Evolve gains illuminated vanity mirrors, and all grades except the Pure receive factory-fitted roof rails, a first for the Australian market.

Pricing and Availability

The 2027 Mazda CX-30 is now on sale in Australia, with prices ranging from $34,760 for the G20 Pure FWD to $49,460 for the G25 Astina AWD. The new G25 Evolve SP and G25 GT grades are priced at $42,360 and $45,960, respectively. Exterior color options include no-cost choices like Aero Grey, Snowflake White, and Jet Black, with premium colors such as Zinc Green and Soul Red Crystal available for an additional $595.

The revised CX-30 is available now, with prices excluding on-road costs.
